Ever-since its launch in 1992, the Championship has grown to be a worldwide event, offering the public and sports enthusiasts an opportunity to follow exciting international teams from America,Great Britain, Italy,Monaco, Norway, including Dubai's Victory Team, Qatar’s Spirit of Qatar and Team Abu Dhabi.

The powerboat equivalent to motorsport's Formula 1, features catamaran type offshore racing boats that reach speeds of more than 200 km/h.
