With regard to the end of Ramadan and Eid holidays coming, we would like to inform you about the working time limits of immigration authorities.

From 8th of August (Thursday) till 11th of August (Sunday), all offices will be closed for processing visas.
 
Last visa applications will be processed today, August 7, 2013 and thereafter until Monday, August 12, 2013

 

Eid in Dubai
 
At the end of Hajj, which is an annual pilgrimage to Mecca, Muslims around the world celebrate the feast of Eid al-Adha, also known as Eid al-Qurban or al-Eid al-Kabir.
Eid al-Adha or Feast of Sacrifice is also one of the biggest religious festivals that Muslims celebrate and reiterates its willingness and obedience of Abraham to sacrifice his son Ibrahim God. Sacrifice, which featured lamb is divided into three equal parts section. One third is for immediate family and relatives, one-third is for friends and acquaintances third period but not in the last section is devoted to the poor. The act symbolizes the willingness to give up things that are beneficial for Muslims to fulfill Allah's commandments. The symbolism of the victim is willing to give up some of their generosity in order to strengthen ties of friendship and help those who are in need.
