Global Village Dubai

Global Village is claimed to be the world's largest tourism, leisure and entertainment project and the largest seasonal theme park in the region. It is the region’s first cultural, entertainment, family and shopping destination.

Global Village and its attractions will be open from October 21 and run until March 30, 2013, welcoming visitors earlier than usual to cover the period of Eid Al Adha.

Global Village started 15 years ago with less than 18 kiosks in a small area along Dubai Creek now is located on the Emirates Road highway, it is a mere 20 minutes drive from the Dubai International Airport and approximately 60 minutes from the capital Abu Dhabi. Today it brings to you authentic culture and entertainment from more than 39 countries. Handicrafts and merchandise will be sold throughout the 124 days of Global Village in these pavilions. You will also have the chance to be a part of many ethnic performances from Africa, Europe, China, India, Sri Lanka, Morocco, Bahrain, Turkey, Jordan, Lebanon, UAE, Iraq, Vietnam and many other countries.

From roller coasters to horror rides to sliding races, Global Village has it all. 

For the first time in the park’s history, the park commissioned a 3D show that will showcase the theme park and will run eight times a day for 43 days until the UAE National Day.

Entry is free for children below three years of age and senior citizens above 60 years. Also individuals with special needs and those accompanying them get free entry. Entry will be free for all on the opening day, October 21.
