In Abu Dhabi began Olympics ROBOTS

In Abu Dhabi was launched Robot Olympiad for students of public and private schools at the age of 7 to 19 years of age

Participants 7 to 19 years of age will compete in four categories. Many enthusiasts of private and public schools across the UAE will be able to showcase their skills with robots, but also fun with them. World Robot Olympiad 2011, the UAE launched at the university in Abu Dhabi. The number of participants has exploded to 50 teams. Categories in which participants will compete : 1 - design , creation , programming 2 - Design , development, 3 - to design and build two robots play soccer against each other 4 - and the last to build a green city with a number of environmentally oriented tasks.

The winning teams will be selected to represent the UAE in international competition WORLD ROBOT.
