Ramadan Fair 2011 Sharjah

The Ramadan & Eid Fair, part of the popular Sharjah Ramadan Festival, is the region’s leading multi-products consumer show positioned as a comprehensive shopping platform for residents and visitors.

Ramadan is a time when consumer spending reaches its peak in the region and one of the most reliable platforms that will help you ride this retail wave is the Ramadan & Eid Fair at Expo Centre Sharjah.

Thus, it also becomes the best platform for launching new products and promoting existing brands to help gain the best possible benefits from the show.

The Ramadan & Eid Fair is celebrating its 25th edition this year and to mark this occasion, various government departments and other organizations are actively offering their support to the show. They will be organizing various events and presenting several activities that will add more value to the show.

Expo Centre Sharjah is the centerpiece of a planned Expo City in the emirate of Sharjah, Strategically located and spread across 128,000 square metres; The centre provides state-of-the-art facilities and professional services to the exhibitions industry,It is the first established trade fair centre in the country and is considered a pioneer in its field.

During its 24-day run from August 19 to September 11, 2010, the previous edition of the Ramadan Fair recorded 97,000 visitors and over 150 companies  featuring extensive range of products to choose from. Besides, leading brands from Africa, China, Thailand, Turkey, Italy, India, Pakistan, Singapore, Malaysia participated and had a highly satisfactory show, with sales witnessing an impressive rise.

The Ramadan & Eid Fair has lined up exciting shopping and entertainment events for all the visitors. Apart from a range of new products from the Far East, Sub-continent and Middle East, the show will feature a Heritage Village, which will provide visitors glimpses into the past through a display of pottery.

Other attractions include display of local handicraft products, a food court, cookery demonstration by hotels, amusement & fun rides, a mini zoo, free health check-up, quiz competitions, workshop and seminars for kids, face painting, magic shows, raffle draws, prizes and a wide range of activities for the complete family.

There will be special entertainment activities throughout the Eid days.
